MICDEXの地域ナビゲーションは、Geoloniaの「Japanese Prefectures」を加工した地図を使用しています。原図はLincunによる「Japan Map Lincun」です。
入れ子の座標変換を絶対座標へ変換し、小数点以下1桁に丸めました。都道府県名と都道府県コードを統一し、装飾用の区切り線と表示属性を取り除いています。元の地図にある沖縄・鹿児島の離島の別枠配置を維持しています。小笠原諸島など一部の離島は原データで省略されています。
画面上では地方の選択状態に合わせて色を変更します。この地図は地域を探すための案内図です。
地図データとその加工版はGNU Free Documentation License（GNU FDL）に基づき提供します。地図以外のMICDEXのコードやコンテンツとは別のライセンスです。
